The Best in Arts and Letters from Cherokee Charter Academy.

6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grade music and art students at Cherokee Charter Academy stepped out of their usual routines to collaborate on a mural to commemorate Youth Art and Music Month in March. Mrs. Stancil-Boehm’s band students and Mrs. Babcock’s visual art students were asked “What is art to you?” and spent a solid week making their ideas come alive through paint. From day one of brainstorming to day five of hanging the finished products, students were involved in every detail.
