Cherokee Charter Academy’s Local Governing Council celebrates the Canton school’s STRIVE students for October. STRIVE stands for Students Taking Responsibility for Important Values of Excellence. Chairperson Heather Blevins says, “Our STRIVE October achievers are not only great students but great role models for their peers.”
The STRIVE values in the spotlight for October were Integrity, Responsibility and Justice.
Cherokee Charter promoted the October STRIVE initiative in conjunction with Red Ribbon Week to promote a Drug-Free Life. CCA students signed an anti-drug pledge and the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office gave students an important drug prevention message.
