Local Promoted to Director

Last week Patch brought you a story about Jason Skipper's contributions to the Civic League for Regional Atlanta.

Duffey Communications Inc. promoted He is tasked with leading continued expansion of Duffey’s Public Affairs practice, which seeks to affect local, state and national policy outcomes; influence key stakeholders; and manage complex issues for a variety of industries, according to a release.

“Jason’s combined legislative, community relations and issues management experience consistently materializes into impressive results and successful campaigns for our clients,” said Duffey President and CEO Sherri Fallin.

“Public affairs continues to evolve,” Skipper said. “Social media – from Facebook and Twitter to the unfiltered, 24-hour news cycle of digital media like YouTube – has changed the way we communicate and, as a result, molded a new way to run a public affairs campaign. In addition to building and sustaining influential relationships, a successful initiative needs to draw on the power of social and traditional media to reach its goals.”
