Great Unadvertised Deals at Publix

For the last few weeks, we have been saying that the sales at the market seemed light and that a big one would be coming soon. I think this week is a pretty good sale, in size at least. There are several great deals on items that are not advertised in the weekly circular.

This week the penny item is Tortilla Chips. If you shop on Thursday, be sure to grab the coupon for the mystery item out of the Thursday AJC before you go. When you spend $10 or more before coupons, you get this item for 1 cent.  If you forget your coupon, ask your cashier if you need it. Rarely have I been required to have it with me in order to get the mystery item. 

The following items are from the advertised sale. Patch has gone through the ad and found the best prices on items to match up with coupons for the lowest prices. Everything mentioned is at a price that is worthy of you buying extra of if you have the coupons to pair with the sale. Remember that just because something is on sale does not mean that it is at the lowest price it will go. Patch finds the best deals to help your family save money at the market each week. Here are the items for this week.

General Mills Chex Mix, Gardettos or Bugles are buy one, get one free at $2.59. Use the coupons from the newspaper from July 10 or Aug. 7 for extra savings. 

Cheez-It Bakes, Snack Crackers, Party Mix or Snack Mix are buy one, get one free at $3.29. Use this coupon for an extra $1 off of 2. 

Newman’s Own Pasta Sauce is buy one, get one free at $2.69. Use the printable coupon here or the one from the newspaper on Aug. 28. 

Kraft Dressing is buy one, get one free at $3.39. Use the coupon from the newspaper on Aug. 28 or the printable Target coupon.

Mueller’s Pasta is buy one, get one free at $1.47. There were coupons in the newspaper on Aug. 21 and there is a printable coupon here.

Uncle Ben’s Rice is buy one, get one free at $2.29. Watch packages for coupons or print coupons here or here. 

Betty Crocker Hamburger Helper is $1 each.  There were coupons in the newspaper on Aug. 7 and Aug. 14. There is a printable coupon here and here. 

Knorr Sides are $1 each. Here is a printable coupon for extra savings. 

Heinz Tomato Ketchup is $2. There were coupons in the newspaper on Aug. 21. 

French’s Mustard is buy one, get one free at $1.87. There is a printable coupon here that will drop the price down to around 34 cents each. 

Mt. Olive Pickles in select varieties are buy one, get one free at $2.79. Use the coupons from the newspaper on Aug. 28 for additional savings. 

Betty Crocker Cookie Mix is buy one, get one free at $2.79. Use the coupon from the newspaper on Aug. 7 and save an additional 80 cents off of each one. 

Publix Deli Tea Gallon is buy one, get one free at $2.59. These have late expiration dates and will store in the refrigerator. 

V8 Splash is buy one, get one free at $2.99. Use this printable coupon or the one from the newspaper on Aug. 14. 

Pepsi 12-packs in assorted varieties are on sale for $5.29 each and when you buy two, you will get two for free. Target has a printable coupon for additional savings. 

TGI Friday’s Appetizers are buy one, get one free at $3.35. Use the coupon for an additional $1 off of each one from the newspaper on Aug. 14. 

Kellogg’s Eggo Pancakes, French Toaster Sticks, Mini Muffin Tops or Cinnabon Pancakes are buy one, get one free at $2.79. Watch for coupons on the packages. There is a coupon in the Publix Happy New School year booklet as well as one in the newspaper insert from Aug. 7. Shoppers can print a Target coupon to use as well. 

Lloyd’s Meats in Original BBQ Sauce are buy one, get one free at $5.49. Print a coupon here or use the coupon from Aug. 28 to save an extra $1 off of each one. 

Chobani Greek Yogurt is $1 each. Use this printable coupon and buy it for 40 cents a container. $0.30/1 Chobani Yogurt Rolling. 

Jell-O Pudding Snacks or Temptations are $2 each. Use the Target printable coupon and you will get one. Kraft  Singles are two for $5. Use the target printable coupon to save an additional $1 off off two. 

Glass Plus Glass & Multi-Surface Cleaner is buy one, get one free at $2.49. Use the printable coupon here to save an additional $1 off of each one. 

Pedigree Dog Food , in the four-pound bag is buy one, get one free at $4.99. There was a coupon in the newspaper on Aug. 7 for additional savings. 

Bic Multi-Purpose Lighter or package of lighters are buy one, get one free at $3.49. there was a coupon in the newspaper on Aug. 28 for an additional savings of $1 off of each one. 

All Ultra 2X Laundry Detergent is buy one, get one free at $5.99. There was a coupon in the newspaper on Aug. 28 for additional savings of $1. 

There are some nice meat deals this week at Publix as well. 

Pork Spareribs are $1.99 a pound. 

Mesquite Seasoned Pork Spareribs are $2.49 a pound.

Boneless Ribeye Steaks are $6.99 a pound.

Publix Premium Semi-Boneless Ham Half is $1.99 a pound.

Sunny-D  is on sale for around $3 each in select sizes and varieties. Use the coupon from the newspaper on May 15 or Aug. 7.

Kern's Nector 6 packs are buy one, get one free at $2.49. 

Publix Soft Drinks are two for $1 instead of the regular price of 89 cents each. 

Oscar Mayer Beef Bologna is buy one, get one free at $4.99. Use this printable coupon to save $1 on Publix bread when you buy the bologna. 

Hebrew National Beef Franks are on sale priced at two for $7. 

LightLife Meatless Dogs are $2.99 which is a savings of $1 per package. Use this printable coupon or watch the packages for coupons right on them for additional savings. 

LightLife Wings are $1 off right now and priced at  $3.99. Use this printable coupon and watch for coupons on the products by LiteLife for additional savings.  Plumrose Pork Baby back Ribs are $8.99, saving buyers $3.  

State Fair Corn Dogs are on sale for two for $6, which is  a savings of $1 off of two. Use this or this printable coupon to save extra money. 

Jennie-O Turkey Burgers are buy one, get one free at  $7.99.

Armour Meatballs are two for $5. This is a savings of about 80 cents each. 

Jones Dairy Farm Golden Brown Sausage Links or Patties are two for $3 instead of the regular price of two for $5.

Publix Premium Semi-Boneless Whole or Half Cooked Ham is on sale for $1.99 a pound, down 70 cents a pound.  

Gusto Half Smoked Ham Picnic is $1.89 a pound which is down 40 cents per pound.
