Great Deals On Pantry Staples at Local Stores

Twice a week, we figure out the deals and steals to help you save at the store.

Saving money on groceries and household items is a lot easier than many people think. All you have to do is keep the coupon inserts from the Sunday newspaper marked with the date on the outside cover of the insert. then, check back with Patch every Monday and Thursday afternoon for the best deals at local stores. It will only take a few minutes to see the best deals and where the coupons are. Doing this and buying one or two extra items each week will help stock up your kitchen and keep you from paying full price for your groceries.

Mahatma Rice is 19 cents when you combine the coupon from the Sept. 11 newspaper and the current sale. 

Knorr Homestyle Stock is 99 cents when you combine the sale with the coupon from the Sept. 11 newspaper.

Campbell's Chicken Noodle or Tomato soup is 40 cents a can when you combine the sale with the coupon from the Oct. 2 newspaper. Shoppers can also print a coupon here. 

Lipton Naturals are $1 each. there were coupons in the newspaper on Sept. 18 and Oct. 2 that will lower this price even further for a great deal. There is a printable coupon as well.

V8 Juices in select varieties are on sale. use the coupons from the Oct. 2 newspaper to lower these prices even further. There is a printable coupon here and here. 

Sundown and Natures Bounty vitamins are as low as 70 cents when you combine the coupons from Oct 2, Sept. 18 or Aug. 28 with the buy one, get one free sale on the items. 

Trident Gum is buy one, get one free. combine this with the coupon from the Sept. 18 newspaper and pay around 35 cents a pack. 

Oral B Cavity defense Toothbrush is 67 cents when you combine the sale price with the coupon in the Oct. 2 newspaper. 

Suave hair care is well under $1 a bottle when you combine the sale with the coupons in the newspaper on Oct. 2.

Cesar Dog Food is 20 cents a can when you combine the sale with the coupon from the Aug. 7 newspaper. 

Tyson Split Chicken Breasts are 97 cents per pound.

Kroger Value Chicken leg quarters are 67 cents per pound. 

The best deal at this week is on dog treats. 

PupPeroni dog treats are 50 cents each when you use the coupon from the Aug. 14 newspaper with the sale price this week. 

The best deals at include the following items.

Cepacol Throat lozenges are free after you pay $2.99 for them and get a Register Rewards coupon for $2.99 off of your next purchase at Walgreens. 

Kleenex Cool Touch tissues are around 50 cents each after you get the 50 cent Register Rewards for buying one and use the coupon from the Oct. 2 newspaper. 

Gillete Body Wash and deodorant are buy one, get one free. Use the coupon from the Oct. 2 newspaper and you can get a great deal. 

There are some good at Target this week as well. If you have a smart phone with unlimited text, you can sign up at their website for mobile coupons. These coupons can save you additional money along with manufacturer coupons at Target. 

M&M's are 50 cents a bag when you use the mobile coupon sent to your phone by joining their club and the one from the Aug. 28 or Oct 2 newspaper. 

Febreeze Noticables are 99 cents after the sale price is combined with the coupon from the Oct. 2 newspaper.
