1. DIXIE DAYS
Deal: Through period crafts, games and interactive stories, this free program at the will teach children all they need to know about life in the South.

2. NIGHT AT THE MOVIES
Deal: See Rio on an outdoor big screen at the Macedonia Community ballpark. Macedonia Elementary PTA members get in free. Join at the door—or pay the $5 admission fee for non-members.

Deal: will host this free celebration at Barrett Memorial Park at 10 a.m. Saturday. There will be children’s games, food, music and more.

4. WRIGHT-ON
Deal: Support student playwrights from as they showcase their 10-minute short plays. Tickets are $9 at the door.
Good through: Sunday.
Deal: This exhibit, which starts Monday, will feature original Egyptian artifacts, dioramas showing life in the days of King Tut and a gallery with Egyptian-themed art and souvenirs. Best of all, it costs a mere $8 per student. Proceeds benefit the Arts Alliance of Georgia.
