Here are the best deals and ways to get free items while shopping this week.

Every week, Patch sets out to help find ways for your family to save money. One of the biggest expenses we all have is at the market or pharmacy stores. Saving money at these places will help all of our budgets. So, Patch finds the best deals from all of the local sales and tells you what to buy and when to buy it. Just because it is on sale does not make it a good deal. Anything you see listed here is a great deal and worthy of you buying extra of so you do not have to pay full price on it next time you need it.

The Mega-Event is back at and this will continue for more than just one week, although the length is not certain. When you buy 10 specially marked items, you will get $5 off of your total. Be sure you keep track of your counts as you shop and buy in multiples of 10. Not doing this will cost you $5 on your total.

Tide Stain Release or Tide Laundry Detergent is  $4.99. Use the coupons from the newspaper inserts from June 5 or July 3 for extra savings on Tide.

The great deals worth stocking up on extra of this week at Kroger include the following sale items.

Classico Pasta Sauce is  $1.79. There was a coupon for an additional $1 off of two jars in the newspaper on May 15. Watch the jars for coupons right on the product as well. 

Rice A Roni or Pasta Roni are 49 cents as part of this sale.

Kettle Brand Potato Chips are  $1.99. There was a coupon in the newspaper on June 19 for an additional $1 off each one. 

Pop-Secret Popcorn or  Pringles in select varieties are 85 cents. Use coupons from the newspaper on June 19 and June 26 and get some cheap snacks. 

Kraft Salad Dressing is $1.49. There were coupons for additional savings in the newspaper on May 15 and June 19.

Kraft Mayo is  $2.49. Use the coupons from the newspaper on June 19 and save even more on mayo.

Silk PureAlmond or PureCoconut milk is $2.49. There were coupons in the newspaper for additional savings on May 28 and July 10. You can also load a coupon on your Kroger card at the Kroger website. It may not be combined with other coupons. Shoppers can also print coupons herehere, or here.

Aunt Jemima Entree, French Toast, Pancakes or Waffles are $1.49. Watch their Facebook page as they continuously put coupons on and pull them off just as fast on a regular basis.

Scotch-Brite Sponges are  $2.49. There were coupons in the newspaper on June 26 and July 10 for additional savings. If you can get your hands on the Publix booklet called Smart Savings, you will find a coupon in it as well. 

Arm & Hammer Laundry Detergent or Wisk Laundry Detergent is $3.25. Coupons can be printed here or here or you can find them from your saved newspaper insert from June 26.

Colgate Toothpaste is 99 cents. Coupons can be found in the newspaper inserts saved from June 26 and July 10. 

Included in the weekly sale that will end on Saturday are the following great deals.

Fuze drinks in select varieties are 10 for $10. there was a coupon in the newspaper on April 10 for $1 off of two bottles. 

Kroger Milk is $2.98.

Kroger Cottage Cheese, Sour Cream or Dip are all two for $4. Look in the Kroger magazine by customer service for a 40 cent coupon for the cottage cheese. 

There are some great deals in the produce section since it is the season to eat fresh. Check the prices and freshness when you determine which to buy for your family each week. Noting good deals is more difficult when it is on something that can perish so quickly. I bought strawberries a few weeks ago that were looking wonderful at the market but by the time I pulled them from the refrigerator to wash and cut them up the next day, they were awful.  Watch your fruits and veggies at the store before you buy them. 

There are some free items for shoppers to get at this week. 

Finesse Clean+Simple are two for $3.99 as part of their sale. You will get $5 in Register Rewards to use against  your next purchase of anything at Walgreens when when you buy 2. There was a coupon for $1 off in the newspaper on May 8 and there is a $2 mail in rebate here.  Shoppers can get two bottles for free and make a profit on this.

Walgreen's Women's 6 Blade Razor System  is $3.99. Shoppers will get $3.99 in Register Rewards when they buy one. This makes it free. 

GUM Dental Care 2 pack Micro Super Tip toothbrushes or floss are $2. Buyers will get $2 back in register Rewards to use on their next purchase of anything at Walgreens. This makes these items free. 

Hyland's Teething Gel for babies is $5. Shoppers will get $5 in Register Rewards when they buy it. Use this printable coupon as well and you will get it for free and make a profit of $1.

Noxzema Shave Cream, Disposable Razors are buy one, get one free at $2.99. Use the $2 off coupons from the newspaper on July 10 and you can get some free razors.

Complete Multi-Purpose Solution is $7.99. Buyers will get $7.99 in Extra Care Bucks good off of their next purchase of anything at the store when they buy one. This makes it free. 

Balance Bars are  $1.69 each. Buyers will get $1.69 back in Extra care Bucks when they buy one. This makes it free.

John Frieda Full Repair or Volumizing hair care is $6.99. Shoppers will get $10 back in Extra care Bucks when they purchase $20 worth. use the $5 and the $2 coupons from the June 5 newspaper and you can get them free if you have several $5 coupons or almost free otherwise.
