There are some great bargains for shoppers this week at local food and

If you are new to using coupons and saving at the market, you will be amazed at how easy and quick it is to save money at the market. If you are looking to become an "extreme couponer," this is much more time consuming. Regular shoppers can simply save your coupon inserts from your Sunday paper and mark the date that you received it on the outside cover. Keep these in a file folder. Each week, when you come to Patch to see the best sale items at various stores, you will know exactly where to get the coupons that you need. If you want extra coupons for a certain item, you can use online coupon cutting services or eBay. Just be sure they are local sellers so the coupons arrive before the sale is over.

While I will mention that everything posted in the savings articles are at great stock up prices, we do not advocate filling your basement with more toothpaste than your family can use. Stock up on what your family will use to save money and buy extra to donate to local food pantries and pet shelters. But, please, do not clear the shelves of the products and coupon booklets at our local stores just for the sport of it. We all would like to get these great deals too.
