Company Moving to Cherokee Plans Career Expo

Inalfa Roofing Systems will host a career expo next week with the Georgia Department of Labor.

The Georgia Department of Labor will work with a companyplanning to bring hundreds of jobs to Cherokee County hire new employees next week.

GDOL and Inalfa Roofing Systems will co-host a career expo Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Chattahoochee Technical College's North Metro Campus in Acworth. 

Inalfa manufactures vehicle roofing systems for the automobile industry. The company's move to Cherokee County will be a $17.1 million investment and provide an additional 300 jobs to the county. 

Inalfa will open the plant within the Cherokee 75 Corporate Park development, located on Highway 92 about two miles east of Interstate 75.

The company plans to recruit engineers and technicians in manufacturing, quality control, and information technology (IT), along with accountants, human resources (HR) specialists, customer service representatives and other personnel.

Prospective job applicants should bring a resume, dress appropriately and be prepared to fill out a job application on site.
