28 New Business Licenses in Unincorporated Cherokee

There are promising signs that the economy in Cherokee County is pulling out of recession. In April, the county's unemployment rate dipped to 6.2 percent, and is making its way beneath the six percent mark. Last year, the rate was 7.1 percent

Additionally, the county is seeing a large number of new businesses applying for licenses. Between May 28 and June 3, 19 new businesses applied to operate within unincorporated Cherokee County.

Since then, a further 28 businesses have asked to follow in their footsteps.
