19 New Business Licenses in Unincorporated Cherokee This Week

Patch is continuing to keep tabs on the economic recovery in Cherokee County.

Within the last week, the Cherokee Board of Commissioners expressed an interest in rolling back the millage rate, and we've heard new that a new factory is coming to the area, bringing with it 300 new jobs.

With this rush of good news, it's not surprising to see the number of applications for business licenses in unincorporated parts of the county increase this week. Between June 18 and 24, 19 businesses applied for licenses to operate in the county.
