Barracudas’ Boast: We are the Champions!

52 Barracudas swimmers qualified to represent Cherokee County in the upcoming GRPA 5th District Swimming Championships in Cartersville.

A 300 point victory in their home pool against the Eagle Watch Eaglerays assured the Bradshaw Farm Barracudas swim team of an undefeated season and a county championship.

The Barracudas were victorious in 55 of 64 individual events and 23 of 24 relay races.

Here are the Barracudas’ all-stars of the meet and the individual events they won:

Grant Davis (Boys 7-8) 50 Yard Freestyle, 100 Yard IM, 25 Yard Backstroke

Laurel Blase (Girls 7-8) 50 Yard Freestyle, 100 Yard IM, 25 Yard Butterfly

Luke Roness (Boys 9-10) 50 Yard Freestyle, 100 Yard IM, 25 Yard Butterfly

Jaclyn Hill (Girls 11-12) 100 Yard Freestyle, 50 Yard Breaststroke, 100 Yard IM

Michael Minozzi (Boys 11-12) 100 Yard Freestyle, 100 Yard IM, 50 Yard Backstroke

Kamryn Carter (Girls 13-14) 100 Yard Freestyle, 50 Yard Backstroke, 50 Yard Butterfly

Landon Ballard (Boys 13-14) 100 Yard Freestyle, 100 Yard IM, 50 Yard Backstroke

Sophie Roy (Girls 13-14) 50 Yard Freestyle, 50 Yard Breaststroke, 100 Yard IM

Michael Vogel (Boys 13-14) 50 Yard Freestyle, 50 Yard Breaststroke, 50 Yard Butterfly

Jack Syers (Boys 15-18) 50 Yard Freestyle, 100 Yard IM, 50 Yard Butterfly
