Users are asked to drag the mouse in a straight line, follow a finger, or just hold their Android or iPhone level while standing on one leg.

Low score? You will be more likely advised to avoid sending that tweet or text and receive a recommendation for a taxi company or nearby motel based on your location.

A higher score will get you the address of a local bar where you can continue your party.

Webroot says that it “has specifically designed this app to prevent the loss of clothing, dignity, job, marriage or friends. While you are free to ignore its advice it will test your coordination, comprehension or lack there of and attempt to guide you away from an early or embarrassing end to your evening.”

Though developers warn that it isn’t to be used as a full test to determine your driving ability, it can definitely help you make a few right decisions that override that regrettable “send” or even grabbing up your keys to make your way home.

You can download the Social Media Sobriety Test for free for your iPhone or Android. See how it works the at the blog “if it’s hip, it’s here.”
