Sale At Publix Offers Great Pantry and Cleaning Savings

Each week, Holly Springs-Hickory Flat Patch finds the best deals on groceries for your family by matching sales and coupons. Just because a store has something on sale does not mean it is at the best price possible. When you get great deals, stock up so you do not have to pay full price later on the same item. Often you will have to wait as much as three months for your favorite products to go on sale again. Sometimes its every two or three weeks. Be prepared and you can save a lot of money on groceries.

If you wish to print coupons, be sure to print them as soon as you know you want them. These can get pulled or changed at any time. Customers are usually allowed to print 2 coupons that are a like from each computer.

If you would like to join us in saving money, simply buy a newspaper, or double paper if you can get one, each Sunday. Save your inserts in an envelope or file where they are marked by date. Each Monday and Thursday you will be able to easily find the coupons you need for the items on sale. 

The sale at  runs from Thursday until next Wednesday. Shoppers do not need to purchase 2 items to participate in the buy onel get one free sale. The prices will be adjusted to half price. Coupons can be used on each item. Here are the best buys at Publix this week that I found.

If you shop on Thursday, be sure to grab the coupon for the mystery item out of the newspaper. This will get you the mystery item that changes every week. When you spend $10 before coupons, you are entitled to get this item for a penny on Thursday only. This week it is a roll of Publix Paper Towels. If you forget your coupon, be sure to ask your cashier if you need it. Sometimes I have needed it nd other times they say I do not. 

Welch’s 100 percent Grape Juice is buy one, get one free at $3.91. There were coupons in the newspaper on April 17 and May 1 for extra savings. 

Bumble Bee Premium Tuna Chunk Light Tuna in Water sold in the four pack is buy one, get one free at $3.99.

Kraft Homestyle Macaroni & Cheese is buy one, get one free at  $2.59. There were coupons in the newspaper on March 17 for an additional savings of $1 off each bag.

Del Monte Diced Tomatoes are buy one, get one free at  $1.39.

Del Monte Canned Vegetables are buy one, get one free at  $1.29.

Maruchan Yakisoba Noodles are buy one, get one free at  89¢ each. There was a coupon on March 13 that once doubled, will give you $1 off of 1 making this free with overage. 

Hidden Valley Dressing is buy one, get one free at  $3.45. There were coupons in the newspaper on March 13 for $1 off each bottle.

Vlasic Pickles are buy one, get one free at  $2.89. There was a coupon in the spring Gatherings booklet at Publix and a printable one here.

Bumble Bee Premium Chicken Breast sold in the 10 ounce can is buy one, get one free at $3.49. Watch the cans for additional coupons that will drop this price down to 25 cents a can.

Back To Nature Granola is buy one, get one free at $3.79. There is a $1 off printable coupon here. 

New York Style Bagel Crisps are buy one, get one free at $2.69.  There were coupons in the newspaper on Feb. 27 and May for extra savings. If you have the February insert, your final cost will be 35 cents each. 

Campbell’s Soup  is $1 a can.  There were coupons in the March 6 newspaper that will lower the cost even more. Here is a printable coupon as well. 

Chef Boyardee cans are $1 each. There is a printable 50 cents off three coupon at the Target website. 

Zatarain’s Rice mixes are $1 each. There was a coupon for 75 cents off two in the newspaper on April 17. 

Weight Watcher Smart Ones Desserts are buy one, get one free at $2.15. There are printable coupons here, here, here and here for additional money saved.

There are a couple of meats that are priced very well this week at Publix. 

Boneless Pork Loin Country Ribs are $2.99 a pound.

Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs are  $2.99 a pound. 

In the cleaning department there are a couple of excellent buys. 

 Lysol Disinfectant Trigger Spray is buy one, get one free at $2.69. There were coupons in the newspaper on April 17 and there is a printable one here.

Seventh Generation Natural Dish Liquid is buy one, get one free at $2.99. There are printable coupons here to knock the price down to 50 cents a bottle.
