New Week, New Sales

Here is a list of the best deals and free items at local grocery and pharmacy stores for the week ahead.

Each week, Patch sets out to tell readers of the best grocery deals to help save your family money. We would love for you to join us and drop the grocery bills in your house. Simply keep your coupon inserts with the date marked on the outside of it and stored in a file folder. This will make it very easy to grab coupons for desired items without taking more than a moment. Remember to print all printable coupons you want as soon as you know that you want them so you do not miss out. These get pulled and changed often. Report back to us in the comments section of how much you save at the market. Patch would love to hear from you. 

This is the second week of the Mega Event at When you purchase five participating items, you will save $5 off of your bill total. Combining this with coupons makes for some super deals. Any participating items in the best buy list today will have this lower price listed.  Here are some new ones to add to the sale for the week ahead.  The deals continuing on from last week are just below these new deals. 

Fuze drinks are five for $5. Use the $1 off of two bottles from the newspaper on April 10 for a great deal.

Powerade or Powerade Zero are 69¢ each. Here is a coupon that will get you an extra $1 off when you buy five bottles. 

Hershey’s Drops or Reese’s Minis Candy are  two for $5. There was a coupon in the newspaper on May 1 that will save you $2 off when you buy two bags. This drops the price down to two bags for $3. 

Pepperidge Farm Goldfish are five for $5.  Print a coupon here or here. Shoppers can also load a Kroger E-Coupon on their Kroger shoppers card. 

Pure Protein Bars are  99 cents this week. There were coupons in the newspaper on May 1, May 22 and June 5 that will save you more money. Shoppers can also print a coupon here

Nabisco Snak-Saks are  four for $5. There was a coupon in the newspaper on June 19 for an additional $1 off of two packages.

Popchips are  two for $5 at Kroger this week. Print a buy one, get one free coupon here.

New in the meat department this week are the following sale items. 

Boneless pork loin is  $2.79 a pound.

Kroger Fresh Ground Beef, sold in a five-pound roll  is $9.95 which comes out to  $1.99 a pound. 

Tyson Fresh Drumsticks or Thighs are 99 cents a pound. 

Carolina Pride Bologna packages are 10 for $10.

Ball Park Beef Franks  are two for $5. There were coupons in the newspaper on June 5 and shoppers can print coupons here.

Bar-S Franks are 10 for $10. Print a coupon here or use the one that came in the newspaper on May 22 to save an additional $1 off of two packages.

The deals continuing from last week should include the following items at Kroger.

Cheez-it or Keebler Club Crackers are $1.95. Use the printable coupon here for extra savings.

Special K or Nutri-Grain Cereal Bars are $1.99 each. There was a coupon in the newspaper on May 1 and there is a printable one here and here.

Bush’s Best Baked or Grillin’ Beans are three for $5. Use the coupon from the newspaper on May 22 for extra savings.

Gatorade or G2, sold in the eight-pack set of 20 ounce bottles, are $5.49. use the Kroger e-Coupon for extra savings.

So Delicious Coconut Milk Beverage in the half gallon size and select varieties is two for $5. There were coupons in the newspaper on March 13 and on April 3 for this product. Shoppers can also print one here.

V-8 Vegetable Juice or V-Fusion is $2.49.there were coupons in the newspaper on June 5. There is also a Kroger e-Coupon  and printable coupons here and  here.

Juicy Juice 100 percent juice is $1.89 for select varieties. Use the coupons here or the ones from the Publix Simple Summer Pleasures booklet for extra savings. 

Kellogg’s Cereal in select varieties or Fiber Plus Bars are  $1.99 each. There were coupons in the newspaper on May 1, May 1, May 22, June 5 and June 12 for extra savings. Watch the boxes for peelie coupons that give you more savings when you buy the cereal with fresh fruit as well. 

Gillette or Old Spice Premium Deodorant is  $3.49. There is a  Kroger e-Coupon  and there was a coupon in the newspaper on May 15 and June 5 for extra savings.

All-brand laundry detergent or Snuggle Fabric Softener is $2.99 each. there was a coupon in the newspaper on June 5 and there is a Kroger e-Coupon  as well that will save you extra money. 

Cottonelle Bathroom Tissue or Viva Paper Towels are $4.99 each in select varieties. Use the coupon here or here for the bathroom tissue and  the coupon here for the paper towels. 

There are some free items for shoppers this week at . When you see Extra Care Bucks, you should know that this is a coupon that you will receive when you check out that is good off of your next purchase of anything at the store. Once you start at CVS, you will start getting these coupons and you will be able to roll them over to the next free offer deal and keep the cycle going so you will have little or no out of pocket money .Many of these items make great donation items so if you see something that you can get for free but do not use personally, think of others who may be able to use the items. Here are the free and almost free items at CVS this week.

Vitaminwater, Smartwater, Powerade, Fuze or Honest Tea are five for $5. You will get $2 back in Extra Care Bucks when you buy five. There were coupons in the newspaper for $1 off of two bottles on April 10.  Use two of these and your final price is five for $1. Join Recyclebank and you will get an additional $1 off coupon that you can print and your final cost is free. 

PowerBar Energy or Protein Bites are $2.49. When you buy them, you will get $2.49 in Extra Care Bucks. There was a buy one, get one free coupon in the newspaper on May that will give you 2 for free. 

GUM PerioBalance Lozenges are $15.99. Buyers will receive $15.99 in Extra Care Bucks when they purchase this item, making it free. 

Hershey Bliss candies are $5.99. Buyers will get $5.99 back in Extra Care Bucks when they make this purchase. There was a coupon in the newspaper on May 1 for $1 off so shoppers will actually be paid $1 to buy this candy. 

Colgate Select Toothpaste & Toothbrushes are $2.79. Buyers can get $2 back in Extra Care Bucks when they purchase it, with a limit of two. There were coupons in the newspaper on June 5 and June 12 that will make this free and earn buyers a profit. 

Dep or L.A. Looks Gels are $2.99 this week. Buyers will get $2 back in Extra Care Bucks when they make this purchase. There was a coupon in the newspaper on May 15 that will make this item free. 

Over at Target, there are some good deals to be had in the grocery section. 

Pantene select shampoo, conditioner and select stylers  are $3.50 this week. There was a coupon in the newspaper on May 1 in the Target section as well as a coupon in the newspaper on June 19 for extra savings. If you have signed up for the mobile coupons to go to your smart phone at the Target website, there are also coupons for additional savings available. 

Crystal Light Drink Mix Canisters or On-the Go is between $2 and $2.50 depending on the variety that you choose. There is a Target coupon as well as manufacturer coupon from the newspaper on June 12 that you can use together to drop the price to under $1 each.
