Hickory Flat Auto Shop Giving Away a Car

Tim and Renee Keeton feel so blessed by the Hickory Flat community that they want to give back to it. This family owned and operated business is doing so by reaching out and helping one family this spring with the gift of a car.

The owners at have a Honda Civic EX that they are inspecting and repairing to make road worthy and safe so they can give it away. Every aspect of this used car is being checked out and repairs are being made as needed. The tires look almost new and oil changes will be provided for the winner free of charge for the first year. The auto repair shop will also give a discount for any other services that may be needed within the first year of the new owner taking over the car. The new owners will only be responsible for the cost of registering the vehicle which they believe will be under $100.  All of the labor on the vehicle is being donated by Hickory Flat Highway Automotive and the parts have been donated by  

The black four-door sedan will be donated to a worthy family who is struggling and could truly benefit from this gift. They are asking members of the community within Cherokee County to nominate someone they feel could truly benefit from this giveaway. Tim and Renee are looking for a family who is really in need. They want to help people who have been hit hard by the economy or have had a hardship that they are struggling with. These are the people who will not ask for help themselves. Community members who wish to make a nomination should go to Hickory Flat Automotive's website and fill out the form completely with all of the requested information. 

The selected family will be chosen in March of 2011. Hickory Flat Automotive requests that people who submit nominations submit truthful information. This car giveaway is meant to help a family in need and all information will be verified before the new car owner is selected.
