Gift of Caring Program Sends Cookies to Troops
Girl Scouts of Hickory Flat and Holly Springs have taken on a new program to give back.
This year, Girl Scout Troop 10428 out of Holly Springs-Hickory Flat, will be joining in the Gift of Caring Program with the American Legion.
These kindergarten and first grade girls will be taking donations for those who wish to donate boxes of cookies to be sent to troops overseas. Their goal is to have 500 boxes sent this year.
Any patron will have the chance to donate cookies to the Gift of Caring Program at any of the outdoor cookies sales locations.

They will be kicking off the project Saturday at the on Hickory Flat Highway and the on Hickory Flat Highway from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
