There are some great deals to be had this week at local food and pharmacy stores.

If you are new to shopping with grocery sales and coupons, don't let it scare you or make you think that you do not have the time to use coupons. Following this method here at Patch, it will take you no more than 5 to 10 minutes to get ready for the market and get the great deals mentioned. 

Simply save each Sunday coupon insert in a file with the date marked on the outside cover. When you see a deal mentioned here with a coupon date, flip through to that coupon insert and just cut that one coupon you need. Replace the rest back in the file. Publix sales often have buy one, get one free items. You do not need to buy two to get the discounted price. These items will ring up half price. 

If you shop on Thursday at , be sure to get the mystery item coupon from the morning paper or ask your cashier if she has an extra mystery item coupon you can use. This will get you a bag of Publix Tortilla Chips for a penny today if you spend at least $10 before coupons.
