CRPA Needs Easter Baskets

CRPA members hope the first countywide "Some Bunny Special" program reaches 300 needy children.

The Cherokee Recreation and Parks Agency is still in need of Easter baskets for its inaugural "Some Bunny Special" program.

Becky Kerstetter with CRPA said they still need a lot more donations till the March 30 deadline. They want to reach 300 needy children within Cherokee.

To donate, baskets must come pre-filled whether they are bought with goodies or created with a personal touch. Kerstetter said baskets should have Easter-related items such as candy, stuffed animals and toys.
