Cherokee Woman Claims $150K Fantasy 5 Win
Ticket was purchased at QuikTrip in Adairsville.
A Cherokee County woman is celebrating a $150,000 Georgia Lottery jackpot win. Donna Laughridge of Waleska matched all five numbers from the Oct. 15 Fantasy 5 drawing.
Laughridge purchased the ticket at QuikTrip, 961 Highway 140 N.W., Adairsville.

Laughridge, 68, says she selected the numbers randomly, checking the results on the Georgia Lottery’s website.
“I was in disbelief,” the retired medical technician said in a press release. “I went to the neighborhood store and confirmed it.” Laughridge said that she and her husband, William, will use the prize to financially help members of their immediate family.

The winning numbers were 20-25-32-33-39.
