Cherokee Aquatic Center Accepting Applications for Swim Lessons
The aquatic center is set to open in the summer and residents can now register for swimming lessons.
The long awaited aquatic center is now accepting applications to register for swim lessons at the new facility.
The aquatic center, located on Gresham Mill Parkway just off Sixes Road near Interstate 575, is set to open in the summer and residents who want to take swimming lessons at the center can now register online or at the Cherokee Recreation and Parks Agency's offices in Woodstock.
"We believe that swimming is a necessary life skill that every child should be comfortable doing, and we would love for your children to come learn with us," the agency states in a press release

They will offer classes for all ages ranging from 6 months to adulthood, and for all skill levels.
