Five Things to Know About CCSD Curriculum Nights

Although the earliest curriculum night is still two weeks away, it's always a good idea to plan ahead.

1. The Cherokee County School District has released tentative scheduling for curriculum nights for the 2013-14 school year. Although the schedules are set up through each school and/or innovation zone (high school and feeder schools), the district has put together a general plan for the events.

2. Elementary Schools will hold their curriculum nights generally during the fourth week of school, which this year begins on Aug. 26.

3. Middle Schools will begin their curriculum night sessions during the fifth week of school, which begins on Sept. 3 this year.

4. High Schools will host their curriculum nights during the sixth week of school, which begins on Sept. 10. A further week of curriculum nights for "additional use" will begin on Sept. 17.

5. The School District has published a school-by-school and grade-by-grade schedule for curriculum nights during the 2013-14 school year. You may find the schedule attached to this article.
