Cherokee County Office of Emergency Management Regular Monthly Siren Test.  Tests are scheduled the first Wednesday of each month, weather permitting.  If the weather is not clear, testing is postponed until the next month to avoid possible confusion with an actual alert.  Cherokee County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) members volunteer to help verify that each siren not only sounds but rotates properly.
