Video of Sen. Chip Rogers' Agenda 21 Meeting Surfaces
State Senator Chip Rogers (R-Woodstock) held a meeting in October for lawmakers to hear an overview of the Agenda 21 initiative.
A video has surfaced of Senate Majority Leader Chip Rogers (R-Woodstock) hosting a presentation on Agenda 21.
Better Georgia, a progressive nonprofit organization, has released a recording of a public meeting it says Rogers hosted in October with other state senate leaders. The video features a presentation by Field Searcy, who gives an overview of Agenda 21 to the lawmakers.
Agenda 21, a United Nations comprehensive plan for sustainable development, has been coined by some conservatives as a plan by the government to overtake private property through zoning and detailed land-use ordinances passed by governing bodies.
Along with Sen. Rogers, Cherokee County's newest senator, Republican Barry Loudermilk of Cassville was also in attendance. Searcy also warned against "regional governance" and public private partnerships as methods of carrying out Agenda 21.
The video goes on for roughly 54 minutes before its recorder, Seth C. Clark, is asked to stop the filming.
To back up his theory, Searcy also showed a short clip of political consultant Dick Morris musing on his assertion that President Barack Obama has declared war on the suburbs. Morris claims President Obama will force suburban tax dollars to fund inner city projects and coerce people to eventually move into urban areas.
It also lists the public-private partnership proposal to fund toll lanes on Interstates 75 and 575 and the failed T-SPLOST initiative as examples of ways governmental entities and regional commissions are implementing portions of Agenda 21 across the state.
The video also singles out the Atlanta Regional Commission and the Georgia Chamber of Commerce as backers of Agenda 21.
As an example at the local level, Searcy also refers to the Ball Ground Recycling deal and the company's subsequent failure as "another example of a PPP (public-private partnership) that has gone sour."
"We are trying to engage citizens to be aware of this and we need your help also to protect citizens from getting involved in this kind of thing," he later told he lawmakers.
Patch has reached out to Rogers for his response, but the senator has not responded yet.

Agenda 21 is a clear and present danger. See my research document at www.tinyurl.com/haltagenda21 - I am in Lake County, FL where we are reversing some land use restrictions causing property value loss. Here in Lake County, FL, the planners and environmentalists pushed through a Comprehensive Land Use plan that added many usage restrictions to private land which reduced values. Fortunately, the Florida government shut down the central planning of the restrictions at the State level and told the County's to decide on their own. Local voters through out two environmentalists and the new County commission settled on TWELVE lawsuits files regarding damage to property rights. Bill Clinton is the one who ordered Federal agencies to fund and implement Agenda 21 (George Bush only signed the Agenda 21 non-binding document) via his Presidential Commission on Sustainable Development, and the agencies paid off the American Planner's Association who wrote the legislative guide rolled out to most states and pushed through by planners and environmentalists.

Here is the UN's link about it's plan http://www.un.org/esa/dsd/agenda21/ Reading the UN's written plan eliminates the drama & misdirections allowing readers to see why people are concerned. The link is not some right wing propaganda site, but the UN's plan. Frankly, the UN plan chills me when I read the Secretary of State's statements supporting the UN Agenda 21 and know the US Senate [the Senate ratifies UN treaties] just tilted further to the left. Do your own research and form your own opinion on this topic - then tell your local County Commissioner and your State Representatives what you think.

Unfortunately, Georgia is at a tipping point with Agenda 21. Our state has been taking in grants and monies for a long time and has taken us further than most of us would like to know into the UN agenda. Chip Rogers is fighting against this agenda. To correct the records, the UN has been pushing this agenda, which the John Birch Society was smart enough to pick up on and fight against. A conspiracy theory cannot be backed up by facts, Agenda 21 has a track record and I would suggest instead of all of us throwing out one liners, we do our own research. There is plenty of it online, and on the UN website. Also, to the Georgia Moderate's comments, if you don't wise and educate yourself, you won't be able to choose a hobby much less afford one.

I am not particularly appreciative of the tone the WP is taking lately. I thought Patch was more of an activity and information site for community involvement and not political in nature. The title of this article seems deliberately canted to intimate that Sen Rogers is somehow 'surreptitiously' promoting Agenda 21 when nothing could be further from the truth. If this bent in commentary continues, I for one, will no longer follow the Patch updates.

If both conservatives and Democrats are sounding a warning bell about the UN Agenda 21, wouldn’t a reasonable and prudent person want to check it out and find out why? Florida passed a law on the State level to ban Agenda 21 in the State along with retiring the Department of Community Affairs (fact check the name of this department, I could have named it wrong) that had oversight.

In my 12 years on the Cherokee BOC, no one from the federal or state government, and certainly not from the UN, has ever tried to influence us toward so-called "smart growth" communities. It's the developers and land owners who love them because that's how they can make the most money. When we turn them down, they complain we're depriving them of their property rights. Now other property rights advocates are opposing this kind of development. It's an interesting world!

However, unless you have knowledge of the issue and can back up your opinion with facts, i don't put a lot of stock in someone's sarcastic remarks. Anyone can be sarcastic. Either someone wants to learn about the issue to stand for it or against it, or they just like to try to make the people they disagree with look like, a you say, "lunatics and crackpots". Thank God for those lunatics and crackpots they are educated on the subject and are willing to stand up and be bold. When you have some facts, i will take your comments seriously.

I've read Agenda 21 and it is obviously designed to promote increased centralization and urbanization in undeveloped countries and territories in Africa and Asia. The very idea that it is some kind of 'plot' to involve mass forced movement in modern America or Europe or that the government is employing some kind of sophisticated mind-control techniques is just laughable - or it would be if such high-level people as Senator Rogers were giving this nonsense credibility by attending these sessions.

"This present window of opportunity, during which a truly peaceful and interdependent world order might be built, will not be open for too long. We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order." ~ David Rockefeller Sept. 23, 1994.
"Remember David Rockefeller’s oft-quoted words during a 1991 Bilderberg meeting in Baden-Baden, Germany exactly 20 years ago: “We are grateful to The Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost 40 years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan . . . if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march toward a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries.” American Freedom Press. net. "A woman fined 325.00 for letting 4yr draw ON rock WITH Sidewalk CHALK "
That - in a perverted way - makes sense since the Earth Charter elevates rocks to non-living beings side by side with living beings as humans:
"Traditional [pantheistic] societies tend to view themselves as members of a community that not only includes other humans, but also plants and animals as well as rocks, springs and pools. People are then members of a community of beings — living and non-living." http://www.discerningtoday.org/members/Digest/1999Digest/June/The%20Earth%20Charter.htm
So the logic here is probably that drawing on a rock without consent of the rock is some sort of assault. And when you take this logic a step further then you can't even build a house to protect yourself from 'sacred' nature or eat since you're eating members of your community. Crazy.
The Earth Charter is designed to replace Christianity and the Ten Commandments. "Thou shalt not steal" has no place in the new earth religion. The massive redistribution of wealth we see nowadays in the US and the EU happens in the name of the old socialistic ideal of equality. "Social equity" is one of the three pillars of Agenda 21. One only has to know that Mikhail Gorbachov has been a major sponsor of the Earth Charter to know of which spirit the whole document and the whole UN is. The UN is rooted in esoteric and spiritualism and the believe that humans could reach the level of God.

Agenda21
Agenda 21 is a comprehensive plan of action to be taken globally, nationally and locally by organizations of the United Nations System, Governments, and Major Groups in every area in which human impacts on the environment.
Agenda 21, the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development, and the Statement of principles for the Sustainable Management of Forests were adopted by more than 178 Governments at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) held in Rio de Janerio, Brazil, 3 to 14 June 1992.
The Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD) was created in December 1992 to ensure effective follow-up of UNCED, to monitor and report on implementation of the agreements at the local, national, regional and international levels. It was agreed that a five year review of Earth Summit progress would be made in 1997 by the United Nations General Assembly meeting in special session.
The full implementation of Agenda 21, the Programme for Further Implementation of Agenda 21 and the Commitments to the Rio principles, were strongly reaffirmed at the World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD) held in Johannesburg, South Africa from 26 August to 4 September 2002.

Private land ownership is also a principle instrument of accumulation and concentration of wealth, therefore contributes to social injustice.”From the report from the 1976 UN’s Habitat I Conference.
“Private land use decisions are often driven by strong economic incentives that result in several ecological and aesthetic consequences…The key to overcoming it is through public policy…”Report from the President’s Council on Sustainable Development, page 112.

Late breaking news this afternoon revealed Chip Rogers' refusal to take off his tin foil hat in the Capitol led to his resignation. Sources also say despite his attempt to deflect attention away from his fascination with Agenda 21 by citing "more time with his family," those with any intelligence at all realized Chip's days were numbered as he became more goofy over time.
Noted neurologists have revealed it is possible to avoid the calamitous influence of Agenda 21 by employing aluminum foil. Sources advise the following: proceed to the kitchen drawer where you keep the aluminum foil; tear a large piece of foil off the roll; fold it three times in a triangular-shape; then separate one of the folds and put it on your head.
These steps should leave you with a pointy hat that will protect you from solar flares, radiation, electromagnetic energy, alien thought manipulation or anything else your paranoid, over-sensitive mind can conger up.
