State Senators Invite Residents to Traffic Congestion Talk

Sens. Chip Rogers and John Albers will hold a town hall meeting at Alpharetta City Hall on Saturday morning to discuss transportation.

Your state senator wants to discuss transportation and traffic congestion with his constituents, but you'll have to deal with traffic to get to Alpharetta City Hall where a town hall meeting will be held on Saturday, Sept. 15. Fortunately Saturday morning traffic isn't that bad.

Sen. Majority Leader Chip Rogers (R- Woodstock) and Sen. John Albers (R-Roswell) will host a Town Hall Meeting in downtown Alpharetta at 10:30 a.m. During this interactive town hall meeting, Sen. Albers and Sen. Majority Leader Chip Rogers will address Georgia’s ongoing transportation needs, and discuss solutions to ease congestion along our busy roadways.

Citizens are encouraged to attend and offer feedback on how to develop a strong, innovative transportation system in North Georgia and throughout the state.

Town Hall Meeting

Now that TSPLOST has been defeated, what ideas to solve transportation and traffic congestion would you pass along to these state senators? Toll Roads? "HOT" lanes? Changing the gasoline tax from being charged per gallon to a percentage added per dollar?
