Each week, Patch features one student from local schools who shows outstanding achievements and character.
While we try to find them, we need you to nominate the kids you feel are the most qualified as this week's whiz kid.
It can be your son, daughter, grandchild, neighbor or anyone else you know. They must be 18 years or younger and you must answer several questions about them and provide a photo to Patch.
We're looking for kids from Holly Springs Elementary, Hickory Flat Elementary, Free Home Elementary, Macedonia Elementary, Avery Elementary, Dean Rusk Middle, Creekland Middle, Sequoyah High School, Crossroads School, and Creekview High School. Preschoolers, homeschoolers and infants are also welcome.
