Daily Poll: The @*%&(#ing T-Shirt

Where do you draw the line for freedom of expression?

On Friday, I was walking through Kroger and saw a woman with a particular four-letter word printed prominently across her shirt. I did a double take to make sure that it was the particular word I thought it was, and was right.

So Patch wants to know: Do you think it's appropriate to have swear words on your clothes in public places?

In my head I have like two classifications of curse words: Eh words and then the really bad words. I probably should have specified that this falls in the latter "really bad words" category. Does that make sense? Does anyone else do that?

We have laws against certain behaviors which all fall under public lewdness. I think that the T shirts with the words that we all agree cross the line probably fall under this. I'm not a big fan of government sensoring but we don't allow physical defacation in the public arena, so why should we allow verbal defacation?
