The Creekview Grizzlies came out hot Thursday night for the team's season opener at Cherokee High School. After a quick touchdown on the opening drive, the Grizzlies put up a defense that was just too much for the Warriors. Creekview had its biggest battle with penalties. Under the direction of new head coach Josh Shaw, Cherokee fought back. The contest ended with a 21-13 Creekview victory.
