Avery Elementary School recently announced its 2012 Young Authors' Fair Winners who will represent the school at the county-wide author's fair.

Congratulations to Moxon Glosson, Mackenzie Czerner, Autumn Dustin, Trinity Starzyk, Drew Vajda and Brooke Wildes.

Avery fifth-grader Joselin Ortuno won third place in the Geography category at the Regional Social Studies Fair held at Kennesaw State University. 

Holly Springs Elementary School fourth-grader Izabella Mingolla raised $1,000 in this year's Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser that benefits the American Heart Association.  As a third-grader, she raised $660; as a second-grader, she raised $875.  

The School-Based Enterprise school store at Creekview High School was among the five school stores in the United States achieving Bronze Certification this year from the DECA organization.
