Hickory Flat Elementary School Teachers Now All Using iPads
Hickory Flat Elementary School on Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, presented iPads to all of its teachers. The devices were purchased with proceeds from fundraising activities held by the school. The school was a Cherokee County School District BYLD (Bring Your Learning Device) initiative pilot site last school year, and teachers will continue to receive training on how to use their iPads effectively in the classroom for curriculum, flip charts, presentations, educational videos and other skills and applications.
