The Duke University Talent Identification Program (TIP) gives seventh-grade students who have scored at or above the 95th percentile on a standardized test (i.e., ITBS, CogAT) the opportunity to take the SAT and ACT. One hundred and forty-three Cherokee County School District students participated, with two students earning Grand Level Honors and 50 students earning State Level Honors.
Dean Rusk Middle School recently recognized its Duke TIP participants who achieved State Level Honors. They are:
