Cherokee Sheriff's Lieutenant Given Key To City

On Monday night at the Waleska City Council meeting, Lt. Chris Sims was given the key to the city for his hard work and dedication he has performed for the city.
Lt. Sims has served as the precinct commander of the Waleska Precinct for 18 months. He is transferring to the Criminal Investigation Division next month and will be replaced by Lt. Mark Anderson.
The key was presented to Lt. Sims by Waleska Mayor Doris Jones.
